Director Biography – Brando De Sica

Born and raised in Rome, grandson of Vittorio De Sica and son of Christian De Sica, after a brief experience as an actor he decided to devote himself entirely to his greatest passion, the direction. He graduates with honors from USC – University of Southern California, School of Cinematic Arts. He works as assistant director of Pupi Avati in “A boundless youth”. In 2008 his first direction with “Parlami di me”. Four years later he directed and produced a medium-length film, “La donna giusta”. He collaborated on the screenplay of Matteo Garrone’s “Racconto dei Racconti”. In 2013 he directed, wrote and produced the short “Freiheit” (for the “Bush” project by Diego Buongiorno) and “Ora o mai”, with Tea Falco. In 2014 he faces the world of fashionvideo with “L’errore” , short film presented at the Cannes Film Festival 2015.
