“Stepper” is Tamir Kehati’s stage name. He’s 31 years old, lives in Tel Aviv and is known throughout Israel for his breakdancing prowess.

Tamir is aspiring to greater heights for himself and his art, and won’t stop in his way to get it, in spite of a serious obstacle standing in his way.

When Tamir was 16 years old, he was diagnosed with type1 Diabetes. This disease effects his life routine and causes him to constantly face challenges as his intense physical art of dance meets a disease that hurts the body and makes one lose control over it in a sense.

 

Director Biography – Gal Sagy

Gal Sagy, born in 1991, is a writer, filmmaker and video editor from Tel Aviv, Israel. Her books ‘Wolf, Wolf’ (2013) and ‘Made of Canvas’ (2016) were published in Israel. She studied journalism in ‘Abudi Creative’ media school and cinematography in ‘Minshar School of Art’. Her last film ‘A Turtle’ was shown in festivals in Israel and London. She has been diagnosed with type1 Diabetes since the age of 12. She was born at Ramon air force base and is now currently residing in Tel Aviv.
