IL CONFINE OCCIDENTALE

On the snowy slopes of the upper Val di Susa, dozens of men and women try all the days to challenge the Alps to reach France.

These border roads are not a new route of migration, but through hundreds of years they saw the pass of people of every language and color, of people that were looking for something different, perhaps better, driven by the force of freedom and dignity. Migrations are nothing more than a circular journey of humanity.

The indifferent turning on the other side is sometimes more than a risk, because nobody alone can save himself.
