The indie film festival created and directed by Mauro Russo Rouge is taking place this year at Cinema Classico, CineTeatro Baretti and Blah Blah
The program of the 6 th edition of Torino Underground Cinefest is finally revealed. This independent film festival is created and supervised by Mauro Russo Rouge, a director from Turin, supported by the associations SystemOut and ArtInMovimento, and sponsored by the Municipality of Turin, the Piedmont Regional Council and Torino Città Metropolitana.
The festival starts on March 24 and ends on March 28. It is taking place in two locations: the Cinema Classico in Piazza Vittorio Veneto 5 and the CineTeatro Baretti in Via Baretti 4. Along with the traditional Q&A, the 6 th edition of TUC includes in-depth meetings with experts in the film industry and authors competing in the event These meetings will be held at Blah Blah in Via Po 21, which is also hosting the opening party on Sunday, March 24, at 23:30 (11:30 p.m.). For this edition, 2821 films from all over the world have arrived and 52 of them have been selected, namely 39 short films and 13 feature films. There is a great presence of European films in competition, 12 of which are Italian.
This 6th edition can also count on the voluntary contribution of the School of Digital and Interactive Arts “Event Horizon” while, alongside ArtInMovimento dealing with media relations, many other media partners can be named: Italia Che Cambia, Piemonte Che Cambia, TorinOggi, Studio54Network, Eco del Cinema, Al di là del Cinema and Il profumo della dolce vita.

We are going to leave another important year of growth behind. The numbers are extraordinary! An increase of 13,5% has been recorded compared to the last edition, which also presented some significant numbers. The fact that the current selection is pretty abundant justifies the very long work of pre- selection that our team carried out throughout these months.
